I connect with the more alternative sounding songs on the album than Rocket.
Ah that's understandable then. I love the way it links sex and emotion. That's missing in modern popular music. I've listened to it like 5 times in a row in the last half hour.
2013 has been so great this year. ...Like Clockwork has got to be the best rock album released this decade. I mean, it is just beyond perfect. VV Brown, M.I.A., and Disclosure delivered the best electronic albums this year. And Bey and Janelle had the best R&B albums.
I thought it was obvious that "Rocket" was Beyonce's own version of "Untitled." It's not like she's trying to hide it. She's even enunciating some of the words like D'Angelo did in "Untitled." It's like a complete tribute to D'angelo's artistry.
I need a D'Angelo remix.
She already did it with Speechless, which is better IMO

I was so surprised when she released her new single. She went from making the poppiest sugary songs, to these really dark electro songs. I liked the old VV, but prefer her new direction much more.

I like this a LOT more...It's very Nico but also mixed with synthpop.
