I haven't heard the entire album yet, but the songs I have, have absolutely floored me. DIL, BLUE, Partition, and XO are literally phenomenal.

When everyone was saying how great the album was, I initially assumed it was the hype and surprise leading to these outlandish claims. Needless to say, I was completely wrong. I love the minimalist, yet beat heavy nature of the songs, the melodies, the candid and honest lyrics, the attitude. Everything about it feels so fresh, so inspired, and so uniquely Beyonce.

Only 4 songs in and it's already my favorite album of this year, by far.
