I bet it'll get really good second and third week sales, a full week with some physical availability and then a full week of entire physical availability.
I just can't accept it. Its so rare than an album this different and unique, does this good, and deserves it, and more. Like this in inhuman, its so bizarre.
What this honestly shows is that promo appearances / performances / stupid radio interviews mean absolutely NOTHING for album sales, and honestly the best way to sell albums is to be well-liked by the GP, not alienate them in any way and just all-around make the kinda music people wanna bop to without thinking too much about it. May the other girls + their labels learn this lesson!!!!!
This will never not be amazing though. There's a million factors to this that make it extra special. I'm glad 4 performed like it did now because it set everything up perfectly. The date was seriously perfect. The Friday release, the time before the physical edition, the closeness to Christmas... everything about this is a 10/10 and it's so perfectly genius I just can't wrap my head around it. This must have been planned for so long.
I wonder how many people bought this on impulse? Cause I sure did, when it dropped I was just like "**** it I should BUY THIS!!" (even though I've never wanted a full Bey album in the past), and Looorrdee was I happy I bought it
