You just don't get it and you also completely misunderstood my entire post. It has nothing to do with the critical response or acclaim the album has gotten just because of the cover or has been largely affected by it or whatever. It's more like the moment you realize after listening to the album how good the cover captures the mood, music, lyrics or the concept. When I look at PRISM, I see a talentless hag trying to be as pretty as possible to, exactly, attract airheads to buy the album for themselves, a friend or just because of a holiday. Not only that, but the album is extremely bad. The cover is safe, cute and it's absolutely boring to me. ARTPOP's cover (and music) is a disaster as well, but at least it tries to be something ordinary instead of being safe to sell properly.
For the last time, this Benjamin poster thought that covers are only being made to sell and ONLY to sell and be pretty. This is false. If you are a true artist, you wouldn't care about none of that.
