Q: Your dream collaboration at the moment?
A: I would say that, um, I would like to collab with Bastille, because they have some killer stuff out right now and I love their songs, and glad to see that they're slowly rising on the charts with their undeniable hits. So, I think that I'd like to collab with Bastille, I think that we could create some indietronica magic, I think. I would also like to collaborate with Christina Aguilera, she is really amazing and I love her voice, I think it's such a blessing that we have a vocalist like her. And then maybe Justin Bieber, I don't even think that our voices could match, but you never know. And probably Foster The People, Foxes, Lana Del Rey, Florence & The Machine, Charli XCX, Sky Fereirra and other big indie names at the moment.
Q: When your album will be released?
A: Right now I'm more focusing on the single, In The Light, but we're working on the record and I really do hope that I will release it sometime really soon. It's pretty much done, but we still need to decided which songs we want to be on this record. I mean, it's my U.S. debut and I can't serve some kind of average album, I want it to be as good as possible, without any bad songs that doesn't fit the album or something. I want everything to be as good as possible.
Q: Can you tell us who wrote the songs on your album?
A: I've collaborated with songwriters like Sia Furler, Oh Land, and these girls were the main influence, musically and lyrically, then I co-wrote some of those songs, then I have names like Paul Epworth, Francis White, Emile Haynie, Justin Parker... They're all pretty known as producers and writers, and they've created some indie masterpieces for Florence & The Machine, Lana Del Rey, Foxes and other big names in the indie music industry...
Q: Your favorite songs from your own album?
A: I don't know which songs will be on the album, but I really like 7AM, Run, In The Light, Out Of The Woods, Heavy Metal Boy, Your Wicked Heart, Deep River, Who Am I, and there's a lot of other different songs that I really adore. But to be honest, all of the material that I've recorded so far is really amazing, the production is worldwide class and quality, and it's really strong, so I'm super excited about every single song, and there are already 30 songs that I've recorded and only about fourteen will make the cut, but it will hard, I love all of these songs. I'll try to put out everything I have, in EP's or mixtapes, but I just want all of this material to get out there. Everything that was made for this album is just pure perfection.
Q: Name your five favorite songs at the moment?
A: Well, right now is Christmas time and I'm listening to a lot of Christmas-y songs, so that would be I Feel It, by Justin Bieber, it's just such a feel-good song, and I always feel that holiday spirit whenever I'm listening to it. I also like Youth by Foxes, Freedom by legendary Holy Christ Aguilera, and Bastille's Maybe It's Alright. And I also like Ratchette by Celine Dion, that is my ratchet jam that I twerk and jam out to. So yeah, that's my five favorite songs at the moment.
