IDK if that sense of deadpan humor can connect with American audiences but I'm hopeful about it.
And Laurie Metcalf is genius in being able to play such a annoyingly neurotic character while not overdoing it.
I agree it's going to havee a tough time but if it can sustain it has a lot potential to grow even more. It's based on a British show so I guess that explains a lot
Laurie is the heart of the show. She's doing a great job.
