Taiwan, Japan, China, Philippines, Hong Kong etc. At least Avril still has a few countries where she's popular while hasbeens like Deadney and *** have no where.

Because having hits in those countries is in any way impressive.

I actually like Avril and I think that the album Avril Lavigne is great, but she's not on the same level as Ke$ha. And, in case that actually needed clarifying, Ke$ha is on a higher level than Avril. This era for Avril has just proven that. Ke$ha is currently #2 both in the US AND WW, whereas Avril is nowhere to be found apart from somewhere playing hide and seek with Hello Kitty in Asia.

How is not having hits in Asia impressive? That's kinda racist

Ke$ha's been reduced to a feature artist and AL (which is Av's 5th album after 11 years in the industry and isn't produced by Luke/Max) will outsell Warrior WW so Avril reigns as Queen of the flops. Still Timber is a great song so good for her I guess.
