Yet, before the 4 album she was only scoring one more smash than Beyonce originally did with every album. Rihanna only scores one or two major smashes on each album followed by flops.

Isn't Beyonce aiming for a more "commercial" era according to her people? How true can her sound be when she copied the entire instrumental for RTW. Rihanna is a trendsetter just like MJ. But continue fuming.

Being commercial doesn't mean changing your whole sound. It's called modifying ala I AM still staying true to Beyonce's sound but not changing it up drastically with it being more GP friendly.

Not one Rihanna album is the same except for TTT & Unapologetic having almost the same trend in sounds. You can go through all of Beyonce's albums and shes always catered to what her signature sound is.

Beyonce had a demo with the sample from DIPLO the producer who made the beat and she took it, so I don't see how that has anything to do with it when shes always had african beat influences in her music in the past. Plus, it wasn't something that was trendy or GP popular at the time especially in the mainstream.

Rihanna doesn't set trends sis she has a team who catches onto them early and she rides it and takes in all the benefits of coming out on top of the trend.

Let's not discredit her because she puts out new music. Everyone in the music would would die to work with Rihanna bc she can give them a hit single. She has the energy and money to put new music out. That's what's going to take her to the top.
