I actually agree with you for a lot of cases, Pink does this a lot. But in Bey's case it's hardly the same, she's touring on no new material, when it was likely the album was pushed back but the tour couldn't be cancelled so she just rolled with it. Now it looks like the album is finally coming out and she's going to promote it. Why would she finish the tour and start a new one in a few months for the new album when there is still mass demand

And pls, she's on 123 dates. Not even close to Gaga's 201 or Pinks 185

Anyway, I think the tour will gross around $300M if she goes on adding more dates until the end of 2014. If she stops touring after sometime, it'll gross $250M max.

omg that's not even the point. what's the point of having record breaking tours if you just extend the same tour for the rest of your career?

The tour is just 2 years long.
The Monsters had no problem when Gaga did hundreds of dates, but now all of a sudden it's an issue.
