Speaking of Michael Jackson and the Beatles, I was looking through the names of Hannah Montana episodes from season 2 moments ago and there were two episodes named "Don't Stop 'Til You Get The Phone" and "You Never Give Me My Money". Their unparalleled impact.
Britney's popularity is due to ONE song in 1999 that changed the way people thought about pop music because no white girl was even killing the pop game at the time.
Count your blessings, cuz there's a reason all her next singles for ten years failed to go number one after that. But she's SOOOO iconic lol... She was an enormous fad that brought in the new millennium. Her performances were iconic just because she acted like Miley did. Toxic is NOT iconic, and neither is the rest of her discography unless you're a gay white queen aged 18-27 years old. But okay.
Hmm. A single song that resulted in 2 diamond albums, 2 WW 20 million+ selling albums, and helping her leapfrog over Janet on the top selling women musicians chart by the age of 23.

Slay, BOMT
Well it certainly wasn't Soda Pop that did it
And what happened to her album sales after that? Oh yeah....they tanked. Cuz she was a FAD.

The Spice Girls.
Tbh they paved the way for Britney way more than Janet ever did. Their debut outsold BOMT and Wannabe was bigger than any Britney song. The army always acts like they didn't exist either.
I really don't understand why the majority of the Hive dislike Britney...
They shade Beyoncé because she's as good of a performer as Britney used to be. So they side with the Navy because they want to enhance their relevance and act like Beyoncé is a "flop".
!!! like srsly what planet do they live on?
She's a fad, just like the other white popstars today.
hhhh MESS @ them thinking a chapter on Britney will be printed in the 2014/15 edition of US history books
I mean Beysus is already in Econ books and has college courses made about her life, but book Godney for the footnote in the George W Bush chapter!
