Britney's popularity is due to ONE song in 1999 that changed the way people thought about pop music because no white girl was even killing the pop game at the time.

Count your blessings, cuz there's a reason all her next singles for ten years failed to go number one after that. But she's SOOOO iconic lol... She was an enormous fad that brought in the new millennium. Her performances were iconic just because she acted like Miley did.
