How is her being forced to do something by her management more worthy of dragging? Mess. We all know that she's not well (she's getting better, but she's far from where she needs to be) and that this most likely is a last effort of her management to milk her for all she's worth, with the Vegas residency and all.
So no, I don't think anyone should drag people taking advantage of a person because of greed. That is not worth dragging, at all. Especially considering Britney and the circumstances.
And re: the last part... Are you serious? How many stans from the Army have been dragging the other pop girls for their sales (Gaga excluded - you know damn well they had it coming), belittled the competition and acted like Britney is going to sell a million copies during her first week?
I mean, you can try, but you're going to fail miserably. Just like your post.

I wouldn't go that far. Her album was trash bar two songs. I just sympathize with the Army and don't see the point in dragging them when Britney herself doesn't bother to promote. If Britney promoted and saw these numbers then I'd be kiiing with everyone else in here but this just feels so wrong.

The Army has been pretty cocky for years (just like any other stan base that stans for a successful artist) but Britney herself doesn't seem to actually care about her commercial performance. She hasn't bothered to do any promo and given the fact that her singles underperformed, we all knew she wasn't going to perform well. Sure we didn't know she was gonna bomb this hard but I personally had a hunch that she wouldn't cross 100k first week in the U.S.
After it's all done and said, flopping is the rite of passage to being a real legend/icon who is able to transcend time and reach new generations. Now it's Britney's turn to show us what she's got. I think her team will have another Circus coming in the future (after Vegas).
