a 50 on MC (the lowest of all the pop girls I believe), her albums rarely if ever makes anyone's end of the year best of list, and she doesn't receive any grammy's or other prestigious awards for her albums. just whose albums exactly are britney's better in quality than?

and since when does anyone care about metacritic/reviews to actually decide if a album is bad or good? those reviews are subjective, just because that reviewer doesn't like britney and gives her a bad review doesn't mean the album is bad

As a Britney stan, I'm not surprised nor do I care. Honestly, I don't even blame her team because I'm 100% sure that they work around her now that she doesn't like doing promo. And I don't wanna hear that the 'Vegas residency' doesn't allow it because I'm sure her team would've let us know before hand. I feel like Britney loves making music but this obviously was about Vegas and I feel like 'Britney Jean' shouldn't have even existed honestly.

A greatest hits album w/ new songs would've been more ideal. Britney will be okay because she's that kind've artist who's already solidified herself but this didn't have to happen. You'd think they want people to go to her show, she should be performing to give them a reason WHY they should go watch her. Hopefully with all that work they've been doing preparing for Vegas, not paying 'Britney Jean' any mind was worth it. :/

But this isn't even true, I mean even Bionic is probably going to end up outselling BJ, and Xtina currently has a big hit on her hands After the army yelling "karma!!!" at monsters for the last few weeks

BJ really doesn't deserve to flop like this (the material is better than FF) but I guess it's not surprising when you put in so little effort I agree with some of you that this was probably just forced out to go along with Vegas.
