It seems to me that the public is ranking albums on quality, such has been the rather disappointing sales this year. I'm not surprised with the low turnout for Britney Jean since it is basically a lie. The public wanted to know the intimate details of Britney and she gave them misinformation on how her body aches.

Last time Britney was up against a Wal-Mart exclusive album (The Eagles) all the sales were reported at once. So if Garth Brooks has numbers reporting, that means Wal-Mart is one of the reported retailers so he should be done.

I can't see him stopping at 99k when he was expected 150k. Clearly, HDD is toying with The Army here...

Wal-Mart hasn't fully reported yet. Sometimes they and iTunes don't send in their sales all at once.

That still gives me a little hope for Leona since she did well with Wal-Mart pre-orders (though it probably doesn't take that many copies to top their pre-order chart).

Hoping for at least 1k.



edit: You know your fav is a complete flop when you'd be happy with them selling as many copies as the capacity of two high school gyms.

Perfume is about her breakup with Jason and the apparent third party
It Should Be Easy
Tik Tik Boom
Body Ache obviously her hard dancing makes her body ache
Til It's Gone about Jason losing her
Passenger is about letting God show the way for her life
Chillin' With You, the lyrics are kinda whatever but it's about her and Jamie Lynn obviously
Don't Cry is farewell to a relationship but still seeing bright things for them
Brightest Morning Star I think is about God once again
Hold On Tight, I don't know but it's personal. I think it's about Jason again
Now That I Found You again is about her faith

If you are expecting an album about what she experienced seven years ago then you are hoping for nothing. She wont do an album about that at least after another few years. She's still recovering from that very traumatic incident. It takes time to heal and I'll be ready whenever she is. This album is fantastic. I thank Britney and will.i.am for this album.

Also, THE NERVE Britney fans have for trying to put this FLOP next to Prism, ARTPOP and Bangerz. Like, no. Those albums actually sold 2-3 times more, had hit singles and debuted at #1.
