The problem isn't even the auto tune. The problem is that they pitch up her vocals giving if that chipmunk effect. It's awful. Blackout was completely autotuned but her voice wasnt pitched up. Maybe only on Hot as Ice.
Circus's vocals also weren't pitched up. That album had human-like vocals. The sound engineers from that album should mix all her work.
