In a way, it is. Look @ Gags (no shade).
She is GUARANTEED to smash with a single each era. And yes, she is a pop artist with minimal musical involvement but the fact that Rihanna is almost always embraced by radio/digital is just amazing.
People need to stop judging artists based on rules and expectations old times past. Rihanna is, like, the new endgame of a pop star.
Her formula gets criticized a lot, but yearly releases and constant (new) radio presence hasn't backfired on her yet. No negative effects shown. Fans get treated to new music each year. She is constantly in the mix and relentless.
At this point, no one except Adele fans (mebbe Trailor Sh-t) can really shade her ablum sells.
It is PERFECTION.
