I really don't understand why LDR her fans are so defensive over Lorde.
Their music, visuals, lyrics, personal style, etc. are all completely different.
Is the market they share really that saturated that they can't both co-exist and be successful?
People only care about Lorde on ATRL as a way to channel their frustrations at Lana. In general when Lana haters are not eating or sobbing into their pillow and screaming SHE'S HAD PLASTIC SURGERY! SHE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A NUMBER ONE!! they are pretending they like or care about the dull basic singles artist.
