Yeah hopefully the Perfume video and her takeover of American top 40 for ryan saturday and sunday gets more buyers because I'd rather her be the first woman to have her first 8 studio albums debut at #1 or 2 then top 3...or worse top 5.
It's just strange that the same thing happened to her before with a walmart only debut...
What happens is other retailers will buy the CDs and then sell them at their stores. Their reported sales won't count for Billboard since it is an exclusive album, but it's basically a way to turn shipments in to sales.
I've been listening to this a lot since I bought it on iTunes Monday night & it's really growing on me. I previously said that I liked Femme Fatale more but I'm starting to think that BJ is a little bit better. Even though most of the tracks are dance songs, some of them still have some really good & kinda-meaningful lyrics. I'm really loving "Til it's gone", "Hold on Tight", "Passenger" and "Brightest Morning Star".
