The Jhene Aiko brand has been in the works for close to a DECADE.
The fact that yall are getting happy over 30k as if she hasn't been trying to make moves is just sad.
With the formula change in the hot 100, it's basically controlled by the people rather than the industry (radio, etc.)
Sevyn has cracked the top 40, a good feat for an R&B, and a new one at that.
She's only released 1 body of work so far, while Jhene has released 2.
It's obvious the Jhene stans are threatened.

Clearly you know nothing. Jhené isn't even an artist to care about sales or any of that. She's very anti industry etc. She hasn't been trying to make "moves" that was clearly Sevyn as she jumped from situation to situation. Jhené left music alone and just released a mixtape for fans doing a sound that she likes and people enjoyed it. Labels took interest and she promised to never compromise herself and "Sell out" hence the "sail" theme.

If anyone has been pressed to MAKE It it's been Sevyn, Amber, Ambee, Richgirl, TG4...whatever attempt she wants to go by.
