And TGIFY was Top 20 on radio, so how did it have no radio support? In 2000 it was becoming an occurence for people to be in Top 20 + release Physical singles then shoot up to #1 / Top 10.
But to be fair, it was really edge in 2002-2003 with the whole radio the only way you can succeed.
Surprisingly Janet is the only one who fell steadily and never randomly TANKED. Damita Jo still sold a million, 20 YO still sold 650k after that, and then Discipline did 450-500k after that.
Mariah, Madonna, & Whitney all went from 3-4 million sellers to 600k. lmao.
Why didn't Britney do any live performances? She should have done the AMA's to promote Vegas and her new album. One good and energetic Britney performance alone would be all the hype/press she would need. 3 mins of arm dancing and miming is really not hard.
