Unapologetic has sold 1.1 million in the US and went platinum faster than Talk That Talk did because Rihanna always has longevity and songs that sell albums like Diamonds and Stay. Not to mention the single releases were messy and it was just another album for Rihanna, not a comeback like ARTPOP is for Gaga. I honestly can't see ARTPOP scanning platinum.
