Sure she's not as big as half the girls now but she out did all of them as the first pop girl of this generation.

She'll always be influential. She'll be our Madonna who won't be producing any more hits or having anymore music relevancy, but will always have media and GP's attention. Legend.

I don't really see her as a really big pop girl these days. I think she'll continue making albums but it's fairly evident that her slayage days are behind her.

She'll probably get like one hit or two in the future. I mean, Xtina's been done for a while now and she just got a top ten. Maybe Britney can too.

Exactly, and Madonna still makes good songs, so in that respect things still look fine for Britney.

I mean the name Britney Spears is just never going to fade away. The name itself is just cemented in pop culture, like Madonna's.

She may be "done" as one of the leading pop stars of the day, but she will always be Britney. What she's achieved will always utterly overshadow what any of these other girls are doing right now. Her legacy is safe.

she's at residuals now. Which is fine. Madonna is there now too, and still sells out arenas. She's not the most relevant pop star anymore, and she's no longer going to dramatically outsell counterparts, or do so in general, but she still has her legacy.
