I think at this point the only thing that might affect her (I'm not even sure, with that huge ego of hers) would be if the tour flops.

her mind has gone so far over the edge that she honestly believes she doesn't need to be successful, when everyone around her knows she has to.
its a give or take. either we get basic smashes, or godly songs like MJH.

And the people encouraging her to continue to work with Madeon and Zedd need to stop! They are even worse than DJWS!

Just let Nadir produce the whole thing.

Maybe an unprofitable era will make her at least rethink her creativity choices because as much as she cherishes it, it hasn't been connecting with the critic nor the public to the level it once was or even at the level of a 'normal' pop star. I guess it'll come down to the tour - another 100M+ tour, and I don't foresee a fourth album a la TFM.

Euhm No, TF/TFM Gaga had a manager, her best choreographer, constantly "Wow" performances and music video directors.

Funny how her first underperforming album is also the one where Nadir didn't produce ANY song.

Honestly, it's not even the producer. Gaga has made hits with RedOne, Garibay, DJWS, etc. I think she simply needs to hone her skills, although definitely not at the expense of her fans or would-be buyers. But this is Gaga we are talking about - she'll always be the most musically involved pop star - so we just have to grin and bare it, or turn in the stan card.

I think that we will be surprised by her. I mean she loves music and she wants to be in the game as long as she can. IIRC she has said that she wrote The Fame so she can get into the game with a BAM. 3-4 years ago she said ' I write music for parties but I am not a party freak' . So this had me thinking that she forced herself to write this kind of music. Maybe this will happen again : Gaga will force herself to write something that everyone will love
I am on my phone so excuse my grammar

Gypsy is the only song that doesn't have weird lyrics on the album. RedOne his power to keep Gaga on leash. Well, that and DWUW but R. Kelly probably said she had to change the lyrics if she wanted him to be on it.

IKR?
He served one of my favorite Gaga songs ever, which is Judas. And generally his songs never disappoint. I really don't know why she hasn't worked with him.

Just watch her interviews from Miss USA to her recent Japanese ones - it's always about her art and her pop. It should be no surprise that with more success, she was going to be allowed more freedom to do her own thing. Was just a matter of time.

She needs video directors, she needs fun videos, she needs more relatable songs,...

Kii at you thinking your meltdowns and dragging will help her and her career

Funny how the fan favorite, Gypsy, was written by Nadir.
And last era the song that had everyone screaming and shatting their pants during the tour, was Scheiße, another Nadir song.
Let's get real for a second, he's one of the best things that have happened to Gaga's career, we need him back, no matter how "bad" his Non Gaga songs are (I'm already anticipating that argument)

I see your point and mildly agree. But at this point, with her new persona, I don't think she would ever force herself to do anything.
I mean VENUS didn't have the best reception but she still performs it like there is no tomorrow.
Gaga will force us to like her songs, she won't force herself to do anything.

RedOne has fallen off hard since TFM. His work is garbage.
You can listen to Roman Reloaded if you want to experience what a RedOne record after 2009 feels like.

I just wish she would've kept that fierce mysterious bitch persona at least, and not turn into the ~down to earth~ mother monster, mother theresa, saviour of the gayz and the bullied children.

That's not what I said, nor even implied, but this time I'm not the only one.
The GP is dragging her, the medias are dragging her, critics are dragging her, her twitter meltdowns clearly prove that she's been affected.
Last era she had a huge hit, a 7 million selling album, a 70+ score on metacritic, that's what I mean with "kissing her ***"
