Circus was Britney's most personal album and one of her best imo. It had a nice balance of dance-pop tracks and reflective midtempos/ballads. The lyrics were not cliche club-ready like on ITZ and Blackout. The vocals were not robotic or vile as usual. Why do they pitch up her voice to have that chipmunk effect I will never understand. Britney's real voice is actually very low.
Rihanna being hugely involved in Rated R is a myth. She said Rude Boy was one of the songs she contributed the most to and it was almost exactly the same as the demo
Thats your problemo + ignorance. Unapologetic and Rated R are Rihanna's most involved and best albums.
Neither of those words have anything to do with Rihanna knowing how to write or compose music. Does she know what a key is? A chord progression? Can she read sheet music?

Rihanna is involved. Even if she wasn't and that's the reason her music is miles better than the others, it means that the others should be less involved too. It's a win win situation.
Rihanna's lyrics fit her too much. She has to have some sort of involvement.
No, they have writing camps where people are specifically instructed to write lyrics that fit Rihanna. That's why all the demos of Rihanna songs have the same lyrics as the final product.

I'm not saying that its a bad thing that she's not involved. It just makes you look incredibly dumb to think that Rihanna is that involved when they have to hire 47 cowriters for one album.

It's not like artistic involvement matters that much tho (to me). If there was news that Gaga didn't write a note on TFM it wouldn't change my perception of it
