iTunes seems to be always one of the first to report. I don't see why it would take them long, since digital sales are a lot easier to compile than physical sales.

Making sales reports (especially one based on quantity) isn't difficult with automated systems. The only thing that will take long is compiling them, and that takes (or should take) just a day, maybe 2 days tops.

Digital is easier to compile because it comes from the same source (only iTunes digital) compared to Walmart that has different sources (branches) so there would have to be an overall compilation for those individual sources to come up with the finale number. Is the logic difficult to comprehend, or...?

The word "should" represents an ideal situation, may be the same or different from the actual result, so I'm not sure what you're trying to point out here? I just said that it's easier for iTunes to compile digital sales, but it's also not surprising for Walmart to report first because it's not that much difficult for them either.

You said digital was easier. I DID NOT disagree. I then commented that one would think that since Walmart is such a huge physical retailer it was odd that it reported first. You then said Walmart would still be easy, which DOES NOT change the fact that it should not be as easy as iTunes (since it was you that made that point). Which is what this conversation was mainly about.....
