I love and admire Britney but for me I find this the most disappointing album / era this year from a major commercial artist. It really has little single worthy material, and doesn't show Brtiney's personality as I thought it might. Further the promo has fallen hard, and we really haven't seen much of Britney at all.

What are your thoughts on the BJ era so far?

I, like many fans, didn't expect Britney's first performance to actually be Vegas, but I'm not distressed about it and it isn't a source of disappointment for me because I see that the show is shaping up to be amazing. And what can go wrong with an amazing show? Nothing to complain about if Britney delivers.

Musically, I'm very satisfied. I love the album.

The music videos are shaping up to be great. Work Bitch video was fantastic and one of her best videos in years and the Perfume video is directed by Joseph Kahn and Joseph + Britney for a music video can never go wrong.

The photo shoots have been great. The album booklet is better than all of the others sans Britney. In general, she's looked really great this era.

Commercially... That's probably the biggest disappointment. A lack of a hit single can really burden fans and the album era as a whole. But that can be fixed if It Should Be Easy is the next single so I'm not too concerned.

It doesnt exist, tbh. her interviews, for the most part, are really cute though. she's not robotic like during the FF era.

Yea, doesn't even feel like there's an era. Its like she only did a few random interviews, released a random song, then went back into hiding.

I'd say the era was dead before it ever begun, but we'll see...

The Entire era is A MESS.

It's like nobody care to promote or even announce the album on the media. I feel like the GP will discover the album is out they'll go shopping.

The Singles were poorly chosen, Work Bitch as a lead, like REALLY. (I remember dragging Beyoncé when I heard 4, on RTW as the lead, but Britney went on a whole new level of MESS). While Perfume was an ok pick, I still not seen an announcement on TV or a performance (Twitter is not the only place to promote).

All they care about it's the Vegas Residency. Ok I get it Vegas Gross >>>>> Album sold (more $$$ in the pocket). But to get those gross and number you have to give us something more than a desert appearance with Thousands of fans holding piece of paper that draw your face. Give us sneak peak of the show (by performing it).

She is Britney Freaking Spears, if she just tweeted that she wanted to perform at the AMA's, they would have cancel whoever that opened the show.

And Musically speaking the album is not the pot of gold either.

This era doesn't exist tbh. As far as the album is concerned, Perfume and Alien are the only good tracks. I hope the whole album sounded like them.
