I think so as well. It's just a question of how many weeks both will get.
Now my prediction is really...whats the word...on the low end of predictions. They both could go longer runs at number 1 but I think The Monster will get 3 weeks and Timber will get 2 weeks.
But both could easily go longer. But i think those are safe estimates.
I will laugh if The Monster don't go #1 on hot 100. It's probably the most certain #1's this year. Radio is crazy, as long as its sales are +30% more than Royals which has been for the last 3 weeks. #1 bound tbh
1. Wrecking Ball +2
2. The Monster =
3. Royals -2
4. Counting Stars =
5. Timber +3
6. Wake me up -1
7. Demons -1
8. Roar -1
9. Story of my life +4
10. Say Something +8
Songs that bounced back to #1 (after 2 or more weeks), 2000-present 2001: Alicia Keys, "Fallin'" (3 weeks due to "I'm Real")

T.I. f/ Rihanna, "Live Your Life" (3 weeks due to "Womanizer" and "Whatever You Like")
2010: Far East Movement f/ The Cataracs & Dev, "Like A G6" (2 weeks due to "We R Who We R" and "What's My Name")
2011: Adele, "Someone Like You" (3 weeks due to "Moves Like Jagger")
2012: Rihanna f/ Calvin Harris, "We Found Love" (2 weeks due to "Sexy & I Know It")

2013: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis f/ Wanz, "Thrift Shop" (5 weeks due to "Harlem Shake") ??? Miley Cyrus, "Wrecking Ball" (9 weeks due to "Royals") ???
I'm disgusted by WB being #1 again next week. I'm glad the Royals reign is over but that stupid ass viral vid is gonna block my fave from getting #1. Now Timber is lurking to get that #1 spot after WB.
