It was basically a long commercial for her flop album. Not to mention (even if it was on at 9:30), some of her costumes were just obnoxious for a MUPPET Special.
Oh well. Disney can only do so much to save a dying career.
I still don't understand why the Muppets weren't involved in every performance. There's no reason Miss Piggy shouldn't have been in Fashion! Manicure is perfect for The Electric Mayhem.
That special literally should've been my favorite thing ever.
But her ugly beak ended up totally disrespecting Jim Henson's legacy. He wouldn't have liked that special; not one bit.

Seriously - stupid dumb bitch only used the damn MUPPET BAND (Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem) in ONE SONG when she's a (??) SINGER. Instead she used her ugly ass band the whole time.
And toucan was probably doing drugs the whole time; it's why she looked so damn ugly.
It was the most un-holiday-like special I've ever seen. Dumb ugly flop.
I get that it was supposed to be the 2nd single but Venus was a terrible/inappropriate choice, especially for the opening performance. Applause, Fashion!, ARTPOP, MAYBE MANiCURE and HIPsy should've been the only ARTPOP tracks performed.
Most of the negative reviews aren't all that negative.
Besides: I said I'd be content with a mid-high 80s score.
It's still my favorite Disney movie in years and I still think it'll easily Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.
Yeah, it's not bad but with all this "new disney classic" hype and talk I would have hoped for more. Guess we'll have to wait a bit longer for that to finally happen again.

It didn't help that she was half-naked (more like 3/4s naked) during a MUPPET special. Yes, they have adult humor in some ways, but it's never as crass as Toucan Flop.
It was but it still wasn't the right time or place for it. A show opener of FASHION! with all the muppets strutting their stuff and without Gaga wearing a giant a condom on her face would have been better
