BTW video wasn't 'bad', but in the end it it wasn't entertaining me, no reason for me to come back after the initial view.
Applause video is good, her best since Bad Romance imo. I can't really stand all the obnoxious 10 minute videos that came after Bad Romance, so glad she reigned herself in for Applause.

Yeah, it's all subjective.
I never had to see the Applause video a 2nd time, I initially had this feeling with the BTW video but last year or so I watched it again and apprecated it cause of the feeling it gives to the song.
Plus I love the skull with pink wig and Michael/Madonna scenes.

BTW video is the best video last era and one of the best of her career! Also Gypsy has to be the 3rd single to prevent/undo floppage.

Applause video is flawless; it just lacks replay value.

Applause video is too dark and too weird, not here for that. Judas was much better, its only flaw being the cheap décors.

BTW the song is one of the best moments of her career. It set her apart from her basic, half assed contemporaries.

Judas had the same problem as Unconditionally, it looked great but strip away all the excess and you are left with essentially no substance.

That tragic green screened motorbike scene still make me laugh though.

The GP didn't care about the lack of substance and massively watched it, even more than her bigger singles BTW/TEOG their videos, that's how good it was. Will the DWUW video that popular ?
