I think MM is definitely a contender for a future single. What else would they release? The only viable options I can see are Happily, MM, and possibly Little White Lies. But in the end they'll flop with whatever they release so I guess it doesn't matter.
im not saying it should be
but its most likely cos its the song they played for XF US thats gonna air next month
& they played it on GMA & the iheart album release
They need to avoid releasing any THROWBACK rock tracks. Those things are ****ing toxic to radio and the public. BSE, MM, LWL, and LBD are all too similar to classic rock tracks to achieve any mainstream acceptance.
I really don't want "Diana" to be the next single. If there's only going to be one more single from this album then it should be "Happily" or LWL or something. But then again "Diana" is the third track on MM
LBD is easily one of the worst tracks on the album for me, but that 'I wanna see the way you move for me' bit (I guess you could call it the chorus) is quite catchy isn't it.
“We ran into the hotel room, where the studio was set up. We laid it down and as I was making the quick little beat Liam went [to the bathroom] and he came out and he was like ‘Bro, what if we write a song using all song titles?’ And I don’t know who it was [but] ‘better than words’ popped out somehow… And then were like, ‘Sh—, we got it. What if you’re saying that you can’t even describe how good someone’s love is because it’s better than words. So you can’t even use your own words. You have to use other people’s words [from songs] and even those words aren’t good enough.’ I love that song.”
