It's sad. Born This Way's drop was justified because of the 1.1 million first week sales*, but ARTPOP had a poor first week AND this huge drop?

There were a couple problems with this entire era.
1. She has NO commercial songs on ARTPOP. Nothing screams "single"
2. She's using pity acts. Like the whole gaga is over stuff.
3. You can't call an album ARTPOP when this music isn't even pop it's like experimental dance stuff & there is no art at all. The cover isn't even art. Neither is the booklet.
4. No lyrics are relatable to the GP. It's just weird.

She doesn't even need to bother with volume 2 anymore because the outcome will be worse. I would predict 125k and 30k second week. She might as well go back to the drawing board and create a commercial album.

Quit calling ARTPOP a flop. It's not. Underwhelming, but that's been the theme for Gaga all year. What did you folks expect?

She lost a lot in the past 2 years but she's not over. And furthermore, if anything she's on par with her peers now. Quit trying the most.

Gaga had the large fanatical fanbase that would buy anything first week in large quantity. Her frontloading power was bragged as her main strength.

Everything with Katy takes time, long campaigns,... We are used to that, not the instant gratification.
