I think releasing ten singels or a few EPs would be a better decision than releasing an alber these days. Beibers team has the right idea.
As long as radio remains such a significant factor in the level of consistent incidental exposure a song enjoys, I don't think this is a sustainable strategy for any pop star interesting in making impact on the charts and culture.
