The best news is that she said she has a lot of songs recorded for the next album. Songs she knows are gonna be on LP5. Meaning they must be really good. Way ahead of schedule according to her. So 2014 release looks more and more likely.

"We got a lot already," says Swift. "There are probably seven or eight [songs] that I know I want on the record. It's really ahead of schedule for me. I'm just stoked because it's already evolved into a new sound, and that's all I wanted. And I would have taken two years to make that happen, but it just kind of happened naturally, so that's all I could really ask for.
And while Swift would not reveal any song titles or a projected release date, the singer-songwriter hinted that the album may be out by Q4 of next year, or even sooner. "I think that's a fair thing to expect," Swift said with a laugh when asked about the end of 2014 as a potential release date.

I wouldn't mind an earlier release, as long as she does good numbers and the material is solid. I wonder if LP5 can hit 82+ on metacritic, even if MM is on the album.
