Ari is mostly the sound engineer/producer. The writting/producing/composing is more with Bruno and Phil. Here's some excerpt of how it works..

Bruno is a part of production team. So he always put his partners in the writing credit even if they didn't involve in writing process. Ari Levine is an audio engineer, not a songwriter, but Bruno still put him in the credit.

Bruno is a honest guy. He never claimed to write a song that he didn't write. Unlike others who think they're involve in writing process just because they sit in the studio when the real songwriter do their job.
