Hmm well that'd be disappointing. But the room for growth domestically was always kind of hampered by the first having the most impressive OW ever.

I kinda feel like the first one benefited a lot from the great marketing hook of "kids forced to kill each other," but this one doesn't have that novelty working for it to pique curiosity.

I don't do local so I don't know the US numbers but both are Anglo-Saxan artists so they probably sold more inside the USA than outside of it. Anywayz, WW #s:

Bangerz - 820K in 6 weeks
Prism - 936K in 4 weeks

Two artists who are apparently at their peak & owning everyone.

I was looking at Gaga's WW sales and it's not bad (ofc there's a huge decline compared to BTW) but anyway...my fave had almost the same numbers, if ARTPOP could have the longevity it would sell decently.

Applause is no "Locked Out Of Heaven" and DWUW is no "If I Were Your Man" and Gaga will not have that type of longevity.
