As for the performance... One Direction GMA performance was announced a couple of days ago, and they perform there next Tuesday, so it was barely one week before.

However, I think Britney somehow considers the Vegas entrance event a "performance" and "promo" for the album, so I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't do anything else besides that and Ellen for the whole week.

Honestly, we just need ONE perfume performance. That's it.

I'm pretty sure the Vegas residency was her team's idea and the album was Britney's. Unfortunately she has to dedicate more time to the residency, but it's not like she doesn't have tons of free time also to promote her work. After her saying she would rather perform her material instead of sitting there with the journalists and just listen to it, it's quite convincing that her team won't let her do more promo. Even Bill Werde said earlier this month that the Billboard cover didn't happen because it would be way too monitored by her team.

It didn't have pre-orders. It debuted at #4 (a gLee album was #1) and fluctuated between that spot and #3 throughout the week.

I get that they're our rivals and all, but I don't see why either of us would actively want the others to flop. I even bought Bionic day one :lol:
