It really does, but I doubt either Billboard or HDD are predicting their numbers without considering all that stuff - Thanksgiving, Cyber Monday, promo etc - and even so, I don't think Cyber Monday is enough to stop the huge declines that comes after the inflated Thanksgiving week sales.
That said, I don't think One Direction will fall less than 75%, but that's as far as I will go, so I guess we will only have a clear view of where Britney Jean will debut after we've seen One Direction's official 1st week numbers.

It's not a wrongful doubt, but logically they can't just throw a number up with what might happen with a price slash; since it's not apart of what they use to make early projections. That's why we'll get more than just two HDD predictions next week once the deals/discounts do start being announced and what not.

I could see her taking the #1 even with just a GMA appearance, though a good Jimmy Kimmel performance could help her, too.

Jimmy Kimmel is a waste, since her demographic isn't up at 12 a.m. to catch her performing on late night. I did say in the HDD thread, one good GMA performance could
easily change the course of things. Preferably, singing "Perfume" live and good. It's sad these things are just big hopes and dreams for us tho, lol.

Oh well. I'll take a #2 peak as long as the first week sales meet the predictions.
