It's quite sad, seeing that 4 had so much factors going against it; it was leaked a month prior to release, an R&B album in the midst of the dance/pop takeover, released in a relatively slower period than the 4th quarter, and no radio hit. 4 proved Bey's star power more than anything else.
Gaga was predicted to do 500k - she did 250k. Katy was supposed to do 400-450k and she did 300k. Brit will do like 150k at the absolute most, most likely 125k tho.
Imagine Britney selling 120k in her first week just like she did with BOMT... and then her third single, Til It's Gone, blows up and she ends up selling 30m copies WW by the end of 2014.

sis, where have u been there's been like 18 videos shot already, ofc we're getting an anthology and Pepsi fronts the cost so all of them are shoots outside of a studio with a cheap white background and are actually scenic (Aus beaches, Crazy House burlesque club in France, NY ghettos, etc)
but some are thinking that all the videos are interconnected and will be made into a big movie. she's actually trying to settle a contract with Columbia now so she can get her TV broadcast rights together.
Molester was so smart during Thriller. The public was craving for good dance music after the homophobic/racist rock crowd shut disco down in early 80s. And what does he do? Make a great dance album and appeals to the rock crowd by collabing with Paul McCartney and making two of the best pop-rock records of all time Beat It and Billie Jean.
