Not grouping him with Kim to make him seem relevant.
His popularity dropped 66% since they started dating.
Because they crossed over to top the pop chart, not because they are.
Beyonce didnt release Single Ladies to pop for a reason, she knew what it was.
Didn't know that.
Any song with strong hooks and great choruses with right support can be pop hits no matter the genre. I consider these songs poppier that what's on B'Day and (the rest of) DIL.
And both of them are enough to trick the Navy in to thinking they're listening to 'quality/acclaimed' music that make Rihanna more of an 'artist'.
OK I really enjoy Rihanna music but this is so true. It's super cool that they like it, I do like a lot of her songs too but the Navy people really think they're listening to the highest quality music ever and when Rihanna makes a ballad it is so emotional and the best song ever and so hard to sing.
