I have a feeling her label/management and analysts are going to be talking about these album sales and this era. Probably calculating why the (decent) promo + 'fun Gaga' coming back isn't giving critical acclaim and BTWesque sales.

They allegedly have a more comprehensive and long-term plan for this era, rather than a balls-to-the-wall, "let's plaster her face across the NYC subways", "hey everybody go buy this NOW" sort of plan like with BTW.

I'm not sure if she's talking about the 'meaning' of the artRave, but I think it means her attempt for having a somewhat formal event for an album release, while many other artists haven't done things like that. That's my guess.

hm very true. maybe other artists will follow suit. hopefully at least gaga keeps doing it every era, it wasnt a good promo but it for us fans it truly kickstarted the era and hyped the start of the era especially because we already had the album.

Damn at that BB thing. It doesn't bother me so much that she lashed at BB, but that Gaga herself is (apparently) paying way too much attention to all the negative press.

I wonder if she's really as focused as she claims to be, because this boastful 'I'm an artist and I don't deserve negative press' stuff is getting quite out of control.
