They're not bad tracks. I think "Body Ache" is great based off the snippet. The beat is still pretty fresh. "Til It's Gone" is nice as well.

She didn't want to overwhelm us with her indie realness. Plus, Alien alone is one of Britney's best songs.

I can understand his point of view. And I wouldn't call it a meltdown, just expressing his opinion. Although quoting himself is unnecessary.

To say that the dance tracks are fresh is a lie. Because they aren't. Doesn't mean they aren't good, but they do lack the originality present in songs like How I Roll, TTWE, and Inside Out, which were top-notch dance productions that were some of the best tracks of 2011.

Ballads and mid-tempos never go out of date, so I wouldn't call those outdated. Alien will age well, and it's a great album opener.

Either way, I'm excited, the songs should be bops.
