Wow, I had forgotten she sold that much circus. Everyone was rooting for ha again and womanizer was doing amazing everywhere I miss that feeling
People like to trash the circus era but it really slayed>>>
And then circus(single) and video came out and
Ugh, 2008 was such a good year for the pop gorls.
Gaga exploded and was everywhere. Bey was Sasha fierce, Britney was the ringleader, rih was slaying with GGGB
Ahhh the memories.

It's been 5 years already
Blackout did 290K first week... and that really had no promo, except the Gimme More performance at the VMAs, plus Britney was bashed everywhere by the media and her image in the GP's eyes wasn't really that good...
But commercially, that era did pretty decently. Two platinum hits with no efforts, a platinum album with no efforts, selling over 3M WW with no efforts.

More likely than not, her fans overestimated the amount of preorders and said it was 100K, so I assumed it would do perhaps another 50K or 60K digitally on the release week for a 150K or 160K digital total. Which, according the usual 40% digital and 60% physical, would be around 350K - 375K first week.
She probably ended up doing 100K total digitally and her preorders were probably somewhere along 30K. I have NO idea how her fans overestimated them so much.

I predicted 350-400k for ARTPOP. Literally no one but Nicole expected this.
I'm glad they haven't predicted anything yet for Britney Jean. I don't want the numbers to plummet like Gaga's predictions:
+500k > 400k > 375k > 350k > 275k > 260k > 250k > 240k
And Anthony's right. Justin and Eminem also started in the 90s and both sold more digitally this year.

I admit there was a moment, probably by the time HIAM was released, that I thought 450k was possible. 800k for March was too delusional, but yeah, some members "predicted" that.

It started at 350k-ish (I'm not quite sure) then moved up several times until it was "north 475k" and it ended up doing 505k.

such an amazing time to be a stan, her biggest single success since Oops! debuted
not throwing shade but i think her record company bought her past the 500k mark (happens occasionally with big debuts)

I honestly never, NEVER expected Gaga to sell less than 400k 1st week with ARTPOP.
And yeah, it's exactly what I said before, the numbers dropping every day would be too depressing and I'd fear for some Army members lives.

She didn't need such thing then.
They should buy a 300k 1st week now, though.

The instrumental is gorgeous on the dreaming mix, but it is unfortunately just a copy/paste job. It would be so much better if it was a legitimate alternate version, that was resung.
But still, the instrumentals so far all have such a dreamy and vibey sound to them. I love them!

Did y'all read this?
it was posted by the same person who leaked the songs.

Nobody at FOTP leaked Alien, so if somebody claims to have leaked that song, do not believe what he/she is saying because it was me.
I don’t have the whole Britney Jean album nor I wouldn’t leak it if I had it. These songs were about to leak anyway, so I just did it a little bit faster.
Also, I do NOT, repeat, I do NOT have Body Ache and only a few people of the whole bunch who had said that they have heard it actually has it.
Body Ache is the only early version of them all, but I don’t really know if the days go by and the actual final version pops out of nowhere (if this happens, then the CD is on that user’s hands).
Passenger, Alien and the Perfume mix are the final versions, but it seems that they are changing Alien to go against the leak (like they did with Ooh La La, remember my post?).
"You’re always in my heart, you’re my brightest morning star…"
xx,
Hot Mss.
PT.- I will erase this quickly, so please try to read it fast.

I'm not for demos, I'll wait for the proper CD-rip.
Ew @ "The Dreaming Mix" being the final version.
I expected a "real" alternative mix.

We're gonna be Dragged until her next era for this Album sales. BookMark me.
I love this bitch, but this time she's lucky if the album will sell more than 150K

If what we've heard of Passenger is actually the album version, then I can say without a doubt that it's the worst one so far.

What kind of idiot would admit to leaking a song, and make a post about
Let me go report them to Sony, for being so stupid to admit it.
