The album is so light that I can not even listen to it anymore. I think I loved BTW because it had a lot of elements and different styles, but this is electro lineal and too poppy, I don't like it that much (it's kinda ironic that my favorite is Donatella, LOL, but it has a really amazing and uncommon/noisy instrumental/chorus)

I think she needs to release something different next time, I wanted more Government Hookers and Electric Chapels. But Oh, Well. I still love her and I hope the album grows on me by the ARTPOP Ball

Hm well I don't think GH/EC/BM type songs will ever come back.. or at least not for a while.. BTW was very unique because 1. it was rock inspired (not even like poprock, but heavy rock inspired) 2. it had dark sounds/lyrics and 3. it was very experimental (BM/GH ...)

ARTPOP is not any of those things, but it is extremely diverse, which on top of it being catchy, is what keeps reeling me back in.

I do want to have a few more experimental songs next album. but that's not really an issue i have with ARTPOP.. the only real issue i have are the lyrics. in that regard it is too 'light' as you put it. I want a few deeper songs that I can sink my teeth into

Not everybody hating on the music now that the album is flopping. You girls are a MESS. I think I'm done with the whole stanning 'cause I really can't stand the drama anymore and Gaga's performances have been terrible, especially the ones from my favorite song (DWUW).

anyways ARTPOP remains an amazing album, best of the year.

I've had the same opinion ever since the album leaked

And I don't hate it, it has some of my favorite songs Gaga has ever done on it. But as a whole it is a bit underwhelming compared to how I felt when Born This Way came out.

The thing is artpop is a step backward for gaga musically. Its too fun and shallow. Btw has a lot of substance and everyone expected that from her new album.
