Ah, Alien sounds like it'll age great. Nothing dated about it. It's a perfect album opener. Sweet, mellow and calm. Just what she needed.
I'm gonna just lay down in my bed and touch myself and listen to Alien on repeat.

The lyrics video for "Perfume" is supposed to be released today.
I like how her team/label still have hope for this song.

The GP would love a performance, some of her fans too. We've been dying to see her live, come on. Are you implying it doesn't matter if she promotes or not? Are you still believing your own excuse that Britney is already a big enough pop girl to promote? Come on, that formula ain't working for anyone. Madonna and Xtina do the same and struggled with their latest efforts. P!nk is one of Britney's peers and she works her ass off promoting and it's giving her results (big tour, big album and big singles). Just two or three performances won't do any damage, it will be great actually, plus, this was supposed to be her most personal album, if it were, she would want everyone to check how good she is, and those songs "Passenger" and "Alien" deserve to be known, they're gems and gems shouldn't be kept in dark, right?

Nop I didn't say she is big enough to promote .... I just said her fans don't deserve kindness from Britney Spears this time, they've been a trainwreck and awful towards her this era, some of them wished her death during the GMA Vegas announcement day, and they're not buying her songs, they're not supporting her ... To be honest if I were Britney I would've cancelled the entire album just to make them pissed , she clearly doesn't need the money and she clearly doesn't care for more fame , she is doing this for her love for music and for her fans and they are being awful ..... In theory the best thing would be if she promotes but I don't think they deserve it ..... And they won't ever be happy with anything Britney does either way, if she doesn't perform is bad, if she performs they have meltdowns

The song gained over 150 spins on radio yesterday. It's clearly not over yet. Now if only her fans would get off their asses and request. Look what Selena's fanbase did for "Slow Down." For Christ's sake, Demi's fan has done more for ha fave than we have.

1. ALIEN
The perfect opening song. It’s vibrant and spacey , has lot of metalic synths, it includes electric guitar and piano bits. Britney’s voice sounds “out-of-this-world” and kinda seductive. The song is about the unknown, the mistery
2. Work Bitch
Electro raver club banger, you have already listened, it’s the most uptempo electro song in the album and maybe the only one.
3. Perfume
Midtempo ballad written by Sia, about Britney’s insecurities and obsessions, Britney’s voice sounds so cute here. A beautiful cute song.
4. It Should Be Easy feat will.i.am
This song surprised me to be honest. I expected it to be another dance / hip hop song but no, it’s a slow alternative hip hop song with violins and midtempo beat, the kind of song you’d find in a 2005 Black Eyed Peas but in 2013. Will.i.am vocal collaboration isn’t very long but the song screams “THIS IS PRODUCED BY WILL.I.AM”
5. TIK TIK BOOM feat T.I.
Fun Pop / R&B song with hip-hop elements. One of the funniest songs Britney has ever made, it feels like it is If U Seek Amy less filthy and hip hop influenced twin. Not of the greatest songs of the album but definitely not the worst
6. BODY ACHE
Along with Work Bitch, the only upbeat electro song of the album, but this one is softer and more classic. It has an amazing chorus that says “I have a body ache, I have a body ache, and my heart is broken”. Idk who produced it but it sounds like it is the Nicky Romero song. Reminds me of Aura by Lady Gaga, aggressive verses and angelic-euphoric chorus
7. Til It’s Gone “Let’s enjoy the life till it’s gone”, she says in this life hymn. It’s a ballad but it’s a happy vibe and a positive aura. It’s the only “not-sad” ballad of the album, but it’s still melancholic and nostalgic. Well done Britney!
8. Passenger It has the one of the most honest, beautiful lyrics Britney has ever sung since the ballad “Everytime”. Passenger isn’t exactly a ballad, but a 90s-sound midtempo that could belong on “Britney” released in 2001. But since the lyrics and Britney’s voice sounds amazing, even if the instrumental sounds dated + the arab synths in the intro are unnecesary, we consider Passenger one of the best songs on Britney Jean
9. Chillin’ With You The song doesn’t really have a production, it’s just voice, guitar and some piano beats. Britney and her sister sounds so great together, and the song Is really beautiful and cute. We fell in love with it at first listen. This song feels like a real piece of Britney’s life shared as a song
10. Don’t Cry Another ballad, perhaps the most beautiful one and the best song on the album. You won’t be able to not cry during listening to this. The lyrics are about Britney’s life and addictions during 2005-2007 and how media destroyed her innocence. It’s produced by William Orbit, and it just contains piano and organs sounds so it feels like a real cold organic song. When you listen to it, you can feel what Britney felt in that time, you can feel the sadness, the pain, the desperation in her voice. Some lyrics are “ Don’t cry little girl all will end well” or “The spines in my heart don’t hurt anymore, I think I’m recovered” “I’m confused I don’t know what’s next I can’t continue, I can’t give a single more step”
