There has never been a country star that has been revered worldwide. The closest will be Elvis, and I wouldn't even really consider him country.

Though Taylor is country, her life is simply not that exciting to have that lasting or even current impact. As stated, county stars has been slaying the charts effortlessly for decdes, but their legacy is usually just left there, on the charts.

And how is Taylor's life not that exciting? I think you've gotten her confused with Carrie Underwood who appears to have a have a dull/relatively normal life/no media presence, but Taylor gets lots of media attention for her love life and that incident with Kanye West alone caused great pop culture impact

If Taylor is 'dangerously local' what does that make Bey, Ri and Katy? Because Red has outsold 4 and Unapologetic both in the US and outside it. And we'll see about Prism, but it's first week sales WW were less than Red's.

And rme my eyes at 'she'll be done'. Please name me another female artist who had 4 albums go 4X platinum in the US and ended up done. It doesn't happen. She's closing in on a decade of success and her legacy is assured. It's the girls who are barely scraping 1 or 2X platinum with the second or third albums that need to worry about being done soon.
