No, this has been out for a long time now. Stations are gonna get bored of playing it and will start dropping it soon. We need a new single and video to help sell the album during the holiday season.
At the very least, Stars Dance slowed down () on the Billboard charts and stabilized in the top 100. The album has the potential to sell a lot this holiday season, they just need to push another single & she desperately needs to perform at the AMA's.
I hope the lack of response to the song on iTunes after The X Factor performance triggers something at HWR for them to move on already.
This single literally did nothing for the album and was a boring single choice. It will go platinum eventually, but now it's starting to fall on radio and I want a 3rd single. Hopefully, Stars Dance. I have faith for another single to keep this era going and give it push through the holiday season.

An AMA performance could help...but now i 'm not very optimistic about it .
I agree with you, we need a NEW single in december (Hopefully) ; if there aren't others greate performance (AMA for example or whatever tv program that isn't a flop) Slow down is a Closed Story.
I'm over this single it should have never been the second choice. It was messy from the start especially with the video leak. We've been hearing slow down for months and months and it doesn't have the same uniqueness or replay ability that lylals had.
I saw on twitter something about Save the Day having a promo CD ready for radios so take that however you want. I would personally love Stars Dance or Undercover though. Both are the safest choices to sell the album.
I'm with you. I still stand by Love Will Remember being the 3rd single. It's almost winter & mid-tempos do so much better so I think it's clearly a perfect choice. Also, as much as I would dislike it, I think she could get some buzz if the music video was like "Cry Me A River" & had a Justin look a like or something. He keeps talking about her in his songs so I think she should respond & this would be a perfect way to do that since the song is clearly about him.
