Now we need the Target deal (let me dream).

i want every deal possible

[Mister Martian]

Supposedly the promo for the album will start about a week out, but it's really just thinly veiled Vegas promo that will continue up until the launch of the show.

And who honestly watches the IHeartRadio release parties though?

[Toxicity.]

Perfume is officially DEAD on radio.

A ****ing MESS.

Britney won't perform at ALL this era until Vegas. She and her team are gonna take the whole "no tours in North America for the entire residency"way too seriously.

[Mr Telephone Man]

She is shooting the video next week

Why Britney? Why? Just let it go.

Oh God, my dream come true. A target deal is flop-proof unless your name is Avril Lavigne.

Nothing could save her. Let's just hope we're not in the same boat.

For comparison's sake:
Avril Lavigne pre-order iTunes Positions:
35-37-50-64-82-100-OUT-87

She spent a month and two days out of the top 100 before rebounding a day before her album release.

Britney Jean pre-order iTunes Positions:
2-6-10-23-27-30-30-35-45-40-52-

We're probably going to at least double Avril Lavigne's digital sales, which should give BJ at least 40k digital copies.

Let's hope so. One Direction is doing one too and they're performing. But I wouldn't be surprised if Britney is the only one not performing at her album release party.

If there was a Target Deal. We would know about it by now

There are a lot of things that we thought we'd have known by now

But yeah she probably won't have one.

[Eternium]

She needs to pull some strings and get a performer on X-Factor/The Voice to cover "Perfume," or better yet, both. If she won't perform it, at least get someone else to.

I went to pre-order comparisons versus. PRISM and ARTPOP, but I really realized how little iTunes pre-orders matter. I think Britney needs to announce that "Passengers" will become a promo single next Tuesday (promo singles cause huge spikes in pre-order numbers) and then get her butt out there.

Does anyone know how many digital copies vs. physical copies FF sold first week?

[BabyCantYouSee]

So I used Britney's Pepsi deal as an example for my presentation and the judges loved it. I got ranked 7th out of like 2000 people.

Femme Fatale did 113k digital sales (Source: http://music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart-w...ale-first.html) and had slightly stronger pre-orders. In comparison, I think Britney Jean will do 20k-30k less in digital sales. And with 163k physical sales for FF, I still think we'll push around 120k physical sales this time around. I don't think 200k first week is out of the question, though I don't think we have a chance with second week sales at all.

[coddiecollins]

i m happy she is shooting a video for the masterpiece perfume...u all stay pressed the video will be perfect.... britney alone in her room...crying for her boyfriend that he s leaving to find his other girlfriend ...

[TikiMiss]

i personally think a Walmart deal would be better. Target is flashier, but Walmart has more foot traffic and powahhh

[TikiMiss]

the video being filmed now is a good sign.
That means premiere on December 2nd/3rd.
Which means she can cross-promote Britney Jean and get a new peak for Perfume at the same time

and no performances necessary on the day of

[Eternium]

As long as she gets a commercial, that's all that matters. Any promo is good promo.
