The album serves up some workout B0Ps but as a whole it doesn't work. God I miss The Fame Monster so much. That was when she was truly on top of the world.

After digesting the album for a while, the biggest mistake is the name.

Nothing, sans the title track, is ART..

The music is great. Only highlight of this era will be the tour.

She will be touring the world in Q4. She starts the ARTPOP Ball in the Spring / Summer of 2014 which runs probably until Q3 of 2015. I don't expect anything new especially a new album until 2016 or maybe Q4 2015 if she does the old formula of touring right into the next era.

Why are people stressing over a tour? I bet she easily could do a big tour again. Touring audience is partly different from the music buying audience

And this is still not true. Both Donatella and Fashion! are great songs. Even tho i wouldn't consider any song terrible but Dope, JnD are at the bottom

The difference is that tour audience also comes for the "old" stuff, while a new album era is centred around the new released stuff, obviously. Some people come for the performance rather than the music too, there are so much other factors.
I went to an LMFAO concert, but I would never buy their record (weird comparison, I know, but I usually have loads of stuff of an act/artist before I go to a concert). My brother went to see PCD with me in 2009, just to see Gaga as supportact, yet he never bought any of her records.But he also wanna go with me on this tour!
Tour audience is much broader.

I was banned when ARTPOP leaked tho. I would have posted happy thought during that time. I can't be positive when everyone's dragging Gaga and the album is really sinking hard

I'm starting to have a problem with Sexxx Dreams. I remember in a snippet hearing an instrumental breakdown between the bridge and "i can't believe i'm telling you this..." and it was soo good.

I agree, music is art in it's intention, and people are too focused on the "product" music these days, but I guess media platforms also influenced people to that.
