'Roar' is one of the BIGGEST (if not the biggest) HITS of the year in the US and it has the BIGGEST opening in the US too. And the song is still sitting pretty at #2 in the US iTunes currently after 2 months and this is the best numbers Katy can give??? I know it might increase up to 350k since she still has a lot of promo lined up but these numbers are such disappointment let's be honest here

At the end of the day, I love Gaga, I love Katy, and I'm still getting the deluxe shiny versions of both albums. That's all that matters to me. Yes it's both funny and sad that Gaga's debuting with such low numbers, especially on the back of 'Born This Way's succession of one million first week, but it really doesn't matter in the scheme of things. I wasn't even that affected when Ke$ha's 'Warrior' debuted with ~85k.

Honestly I'm surprised about Gaga and disappointed. But I never trashed Katy's album sales, so I feel fine. Some surprises are unexpected. Not a big deal IMO.
