That's not the best excuse. My fave sold 276k in the first week with her last LP without any promo nor a radio support, or a big hype. Not to mention that it was a March release and people were paying dust to Britney. Considering that Artpop sold 100k based on pre-orders that means that the album will end up selling 150-175k this week which is really low for a Queen of Pop.My point wasn't to trash GaGa, i just wanted to show you how mean you were when you were calling Britney, flop or dead knee or whatever in 2011 and now that's happening to you.
MTE, there's a reason every stanbase is dragging Gaga. It's because her fans did the exact same to them. Monsters made Gaga out to be the world's biggest pop star. Now she's been degraded to the same level as the other girls, even lower if she debuts with less than Katy or Miley, or if her singles flop. Ofc I realize not all monsters are like that, but the most vocal members of the base are. Oh, and any of y'all still trying to drag Katy need to sit the **** down and stay there.
Well, even though I dislike the album... on one hand I feel bad for her because I think that this album is way more attractive to the GP than her last one but on the other... I'm more than happy that people can stop calling Born This Way her flop album/era.
And the fact that now everyone praises it even though they dragged it for 2 years, is more than pathetic. That's what I call KARMA...
I like how Applause is suddenly a hit and then some LM considers Skyfall a huge flop. Skyfall sold 2 million + without radio support and that speaks alot Applause is not a big hit like how many are making it out to be. Its a mediocre hit but I guess good in Gaga's standards.
You're all doing the exact same thing that the some of the Monsters did regarding PRISM's sales. Complete hypocrites. Be the bigger person
no monsters wer more ruthless and with assumptions. monsters cant really expect ppl to allow them to drag and not drag her for the same thing. instead of calling someone a hypocrit think about what monsters did to get to this point...its called a dose of your own medicine. now be the bigger person and take it and move forward and next time youll think twice about shading ppl outperforming your fave out of frustration, envy, animosity etc.
to be quite honest with you, monsters do it more then any other fanbase. Thats why not only kats are dragging but pretty much every fanbase other then the hive.

Of course I was expecting a lot higher but I do understand she kinda fell off the face of the earth for a while and the music industry is all about striking while the oven is hot ... Maybe the wait hurt her.
